Our client are looking for a AS400 Support Analyst to join their team on a client site in Sydney CBD. Experience: Three + years experience in software development and/or support Experience delivering major pieces of work in a complex project environment Experience providing quality review and technical advice to a development or support team desirable Accountabilities Application development and maintenance: In some instances deliver quality sustainable development solutions for projects and/or enhancements , in line with the broader business and technology strategies , with the goal of continuously advancing the portfolio to meet business requirements Service delivery: Conduct system maintenance , including implementation of business recovery , disaster recovery and continuity plans , to deliver system availability , reliability , stability , currency and recoverability of applications to meet agreed service levels Conduct resolution of incidents and problems to ensure systems operate as required. EXPERIENCE & - QUALIFICATIONS - Ability to develop strong relationships with staff across all parts of the KSA business and leverage those relationships to facilitate a clear , consistent and regular internal communications programme. Excellent organisational skills , good understanding of service issues , can communicate with technical people about issues related to a service requests. Ability to discuss and resolve conflict with people of Senior Management Status , managers and operational staff. Ability to negotiate win-win or mutually beneficial solutions with staff , team leaders , internal groups or customers Ability to lead staff communication discussions and obtain feedback to improve current processes Ability to formulate and present reports to senior management , including employee feedback and improvement suggestions Have an excellent written and oral skills in the preparation of reports and presentations Previous documentation and training experience Self-organising , ability to perform tasks in a timely and unsupervised manner.
