The Opportunity:Sitting within the Technical Services team and reporting to the Superintendent Geotechnical , you will be required to provide technical - evaluation , designs and implementation of the Underground Project. Duties will include:. Provide geotechnical design parameters for short and long term design studies. Construct 3D modelling of geotechnical domains. Analysis or peer review of highwall design and report risk. Undertake and direct geotechnical slope reconciliation works. Execute and analyse key geotechnical issues that effect expansion projects. The Candidate: BSc / BEng - within Geology / Rock Mechanics / Mining or equivalent. Defined experience within geotechnical engineering within underground operations within Australia - highly - desirable. Sound working knowledge of Vulcan , Rocscience , MS office suite. Effective communicator - verbal and written.
