You will learn how to cut , fit , edge and repair optical lenses and frames and be offered the opportunity to complete formal qualifications in Optical Dispensing - thereby ensuring your success in the Optical Industry. In this front line , customer dedicated role , you will work in close collaboration with the Store Manager and Optometrist(s) to ensure a positive experience for each and every patient & customer. Promoting a high-end product range including designer frames and sunglasses , you will strive to meet retail sales objectives as well as assisting in-store with patient scheduling , record-keeping , ordering and inventory. With a supportive management structure and comprehensive training provided from day one , you'll quickly find your feet in this busy , rewarding position , working on a retail roster which will include some - late-night shopping hours and weekends. This is a permanent part time position (16 hours per week) with some - Saturday work - required. Flexibility is also required to work across both our Brisbane CBD - practices - Adelaide Street in the Bupa Health Experience Store and Anzac Square.
