Bookkeeper - Attractive Rate , Flexible HoursAbout Us The Talon Group , a small but growing recruitment company based in St Leonards , currently has the urgent requirement for an in house bookkeeper. Growth has stimulated this opportunity and in this case , we are looking to appoint an expereinced bookkeeper who is a - well presented communicator to be responsible for all facets of book keeping and - payroll working two days a week. The Vacant Position This role will include duties including paying our staff out on contract labour and ensuring all accounts receivable and payable , using MYOB as our primary software tool. These duties will be varied and will involve you working across a number of tax regulations in Australia and you should - be au fait with all facets of payroll tax , workers compensation and - statutory obligations. You will be given a thorough hand over and will be working in a fairly relaxed environment directly above St Leonards train station. The exact hours are flexible but due to timesheets being received and them needing to be processed , you will have to work - on Tuesday. You will be encouraged to innovate our systems to make them more efficient and we are always open to suggestions. The Experience Needed To be suitable you will have to have a well rounded background in Bookkeeping / accounting. We do our payroll - BAS statements , GST returns , Super , Workers Compensation and other insurances - in house , you will be responsible for ensuring those are processed and coumented on time and then forwarding all required information out to our accountants. This will probably suit people that live on the lower north shore looking for permanent part time work , who enjoy varied work and a - busy environment. As you will have to talk to clients on a regular basis , excellent communications skills are essential. You pride yourself on being organised and efficient and enjoy working as a key member of a close knit team environment. MYOB is the software package used and you will need to be proficient with it and experienced in entering multiple timesheets with various rates of pay. This opportunity is sure to attract attention.
